The firm was founded in 1997 by Lou Moelchert to provide institutional and high net worth investors with professional management of alternative investments. As the CIO of the University of Richmond endowment, Mr. Moelchert began making investments into alternatives in the early 1980s. Today, the firm has two fully dedicated investment teams that focus on the management of hedge fund and private equity capabilities.
